The $1.99 Aldi breakfast item sending customers into overdrive
An Aussie Aldi shopper has gone viral after sharing a picture of an inexpensive carton of delicious pancake mix — and now customers can't get enough of it.
In a post on the famous Aldi Mums Facebook group, the woman caused a stir after uploading a picture of the product with the caption, "Delicious. Run now!!!!"
The item pictured was a carton of the cheap, yet tasty, Lion Choc Chip Pancake Mix which is currently being sold for $1.99.

To make the pancakes, all that is required is a bit of milk which is added to the carton and then shaken and cooked.
Beneath the post, users raved about the product with one person writing, "Yes these are the best pancakes I have ever had."
Another added, "Yes these are by far the best instant mix pancakes ever," while a third customer wrote, "My kids love it, sneaky Christmas elves got us hooked."
The news comes after Aldi shoppers were left in a frenzy earlier this week after 'Bursting Bubbles Prosecco and Gin Party Pack' hit the shelves as part of Aldi's weekly Special Buys.

One customer shared a pic of the party pack in the Facebook group which prompted a slew of comments praising the product.
The $17 pack contains raspberry, strawberry, passionfruit and peach bubbles to add to your prosecco or gin and tonic.
