Instagram account exposes the photoshopping secrets of supermodels

Multi-million dollar wings, diamond-encrusted bras and sky-high stilettos are part and parcel of the annual Victoria Secret’s runway show, evidently, so are photoshopped images.

Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid and Australian model, Shanina Shaik, have been suspected of editing images of themselves from last week’s annual extravaganza.

Cult Instagram account, Celebface, has shared a series of posts that feature professional photos from the show, alongside images the models posted to their own social media pages.

According to the account, which has over 711,000 followers, the models have made major tweaks to their personal snaps such as airbrushing their skin, enhancing their physical features and slimming down their waists and jawlines.

In Jenner’s case, the world’s highest paid model, appears to have made her waist smaller and darkened the colour of her skin in a photo of her walking down the catwalk.

Fans have been quick to express their views about the alleged photoshopping.

"Dammmm why she need photoshop to get thinner she is thin enough," commented one follower

"She doesn’t need that," added another.

In a post that featured Shaik, the David Jones ambassador seemed to have slimmed down her (already flat) stomach and enhanced the size of her derrière.

A move that lead fans of the page to accuse the Australian model of creating "unrealistic" body standards.

"These unrealistic standards that models set disgusts me..... it’s horrifying and why so many young girls are not and never will be happy with themselves."
