She says that the trick to getting your glasses as clean as the day you bought them is to "emulsify the oil buildup" by rubbing the lens with your fingers.
In the video, she demonstrated this technique by spraying one lens of a pair of glasses with lens spray and proceeded to rub the lens with her fingers until the liquid emulsified.
On the other lens she simply sprayed it without rubbing it in with her fingers.

She then took a wipe and wiped the liquid off the lens that she had rubbed with her fingers to reveal a perfectly clean lens.
"This is after one wipe, look spotless," she explained.
The second lens which she had not first rubbed with her fingers took "multiple wipes" to remove the liquid and was "still not clean".
Comparing both lenses, she proved that emulsifying the buildup with your fingers makes a big difference in the appearance of the glasses.
She recommends rubbing the lenses with your fingers "until the liquid sits on top of the lenses" and then "simply wipe away the liquid" which she says works like "magic".

She continued to express that dishwashing liquid can be used instead of lens spray and create the same result. TikTok
She explained that if you don't have any lens spray, you can instead use some dishwashing liquid to get the same effect.
"Now if you don't have any lens spray not to worry this is actually our preferred method," she explained.
"Under lukewarm water you're going to pop a little bit of Morning Fresh on your lenses doing the same method and wash away with some lukewarm water."
Finally she expressed that it is important not to use methylated spirits or alcohol wipes on your lenses as it "can sometimes break down the material that your lenses are made from" and not to put your glasses in the dishwasher as is can be "incredibly abrasive".
