Forget winter! It's time to prep your post-isolation spring style

Despite the social distancing restrictions set to slightly relax, our winter is still looking like it will be spent mostly indoors. It's what we must do to help fight the spread of COVID-19. But as a person who loves to plan outfits and organise my wardrobe according to the season, I'm thrown.
If it wasn't for coronavirus we'd all be shopping for knits and denim, and deciding on which coat to buy, to get through the cooler months. But it seems this year we'll be skipping winter and hopefully emerging ~carefully~ from our homes in spring (if we've all been doing what we're told).
So, it's time to embrace a winter where pyjamas, activewear and sweats (bra optional) are the norm and focus all our attention on spring, and what we will be wearing. And the good news is, the post-isolation trends are all about making statements.
Even Aje creative director, Edwina Forest, admits that what's to come for spring will be worth the long wait — think: tailoring, volume, texture and graphic prints.

We've spent the last few seasons working blazers and trousers into our outfit rotation but for spring, the tailored pieces you're about to see everywhere will come with unexpected details, colour combos and peek-a-boo cutouts. Upsize your regular prints this spring/summer. If it's florals you're into, opt for massive patterns instead of your more obvious printed fabrics.
