Inside Paris Hilton's quest for a wedding dress: 'I had literally had 45 of them'

Paris Hilton has revealed that she was sent over 45 wedding dresses for her 2021 wedding, with designers across the globe keen to be a part of her celebrations.

While speaking to British Vogue she confessed that despite her best efforts, she only had the time and capacity to wear six.

"I actually wore six dresses when I did my wedding. It was because I had literally had 45 of them," Hilton told the outlet.

"My stylist was getting calls from designers all around the world. Everyone was so excited to be a part of this wedding, that they all made these incredible custom dresses," she added.

"I tried to wear as many of them as possible."

With much variety to choose from, Hilton admired all of the looks but was already sure of one particular designer.

"I knew right away that I wanted to walk down the aisle in Oscar [de la Renta]," the Stars Are Blind singer said.

"I wanted something that was really princess that had like 3-D flowers on it," she continued noting that she was inspired by Old Hollywood star Grace Kelly.

Hilton and Carter Reum tied the knot on November 11, 2021, in a lavish ceremony, which reportedly took place at the US$60 million (approx. $82 million) Bel-Air estate of Hilton's late grandfather, Barron Hilton.

"My forever begins today... ✨💍 11/11 💝#JustMarried #ForeverHiltonReum," the newlywed captioned a first photo of herself in her wedding dress posted to Instagram.

Explaining how she fit six dresses into two days, the star told the outlet that she wore four dresses on the first day and two on the second.

Her first dress was a high neck, long-sleeved dress decorated with floral embroidery and patterns with a complementary veil.

A Galia Lahav gown was next. Adding a tiara, the star wore the off-the-shoulder dress for her first dance before changing into her third look of the night: a second Oscar de la Renta dress.

Nearing the end of the first day, Hilton donned a bejewelled Pamella Roland gown that included a sheer sequin-covered cape and intricate pearl and sequin embellishments. She of course paired the design with a tiara.

As celebrations continued into a second day, the House of Wax star stunned in a Marchesa gown followed by another Oscar de la Renta dress that she wore while in attendance at a party with friends and family.
