All the models who scored the career-launching gig as the face of Seafolly

For fans of Seafolly the news of its collapse has come as a shock. The iconic Australian swimwear brand, that got its start in 1975 in Sydney's Bondi Beach, became the latest retail victim to the fallout from the coronavirus pandemic and has gone into voluntary administration.

A look back at the 40 year history of the brand synonymous with long, hot Australian summers and it's clear it provided so much more than just swimwear for water lovers. It introduced the concept of bikinis sold as separates (important!) and most impressively helped to launch the careers of some of Australia's biggest names in the modelling industry as well as secured ambassadorships from some of the world's most famous models.

Jess Hart got to show she was the epitome of a Seafolly girl during her stint as the brand's face during 2009 and 2010. As did Victoria Lee, Samantha Harris, Martha Hunt, Catherine McNeil, Cheyenne Tozzi and Shanina Shaik, in the years that followed.

As we wait to see what becomes of Seafolly, let's take a look at all the models who were a big part of the brand's identity.
