Meghan Markle's special style tribute to Diana

Wednesday was a busy day for the newest royal. Not only did Meghan Markle step out in an all-white (H&M to be specific) ensemble to visit an animal charity in London, she then backed it up the same night, attending the premiere of Cirque du Soleil's, Totem, hand in hand with husband, Prince Harry.

While her navy sequined Roland Mouret gown would have been enough to attract attention and satisfy our appetite for royal style, it was the bracelet she was wearing on her right hand that had us doing a double take, and obsessing equally as much.

Zooming in for a closer look, the gold open bangle — featuring two dark stones — once belonged to Princess Diana, making this particular outfit a very special tribute to her late mother-in-law.

Before Meghan, Princess Di wore the bracelet a number of times, even spotted at the Alfred Dunhill shop in Mayfair, London on May 25, 1994 with the delicate piece on her wrist — Diana choosing also to pair the bracelet with a navy number.

But this most recent outing for the mum-to-be isn't the first time we have spotted Meghan wearing the piece.

The Duchess wore the same royal heirloom during her recent visit to Australia. On this particular occasion, wearing it with a khaki green button up dress, and a pair of butterfly earrings that also belonged to Diana.
