Kamala Harris' niece Meena 'twinned' with Kate Middleton at inauguration
Jewel tones were the sartorial star of last week's presidential inauguration, with Meena Harris' two green emerald dresses winning plenty of admiration.
As it turns out, the dress worn by Vice-President Kamala Harris' niece during the evening celebrations previously turned heads during a royal tour.

After watching her aunty's historic inauguration, Meena changed into a midi-length metallic gown, featuring three-quarter sleeves and a ruffled hem, from British brand The Vampire's Wife.
Sharing a photo of the outfit on Instagram, the author, lawyer and advocate, who worked as an advisor on the Biden-Harris campaign, quipped, "On my vampire s--t."
In a case of 'stylish minds think alike', the striking garment was also worn by the Duchess of Cambridge during her tour of Ireland in early 2020.

Kate Middleton wore the Falconetti Dress, which is made of iridescent silk metallic chiffon and retails for $2879, while visiting the Guinness Storehouse's Gravity Bar.
Both Meena and the duchess looked glorious in the outfit.

While Kate teamed her dress with a pair of pumps, Meena opted for pointed boots and — in a symbol of how much the world has changed in the year between the two outings — a face mask.

Princess Beatrice has also worn a similar metallic green dress from The Vampire's Wife.
For singer Ellie Goulding's wedding in 2019, Beatrice wore the brand's Veneration Silk-blend Lamé Dress, which is similar in design to Kate and Meena's.
Though it was the same metallic emerald colour, the princess' version featured tiered ruffles at the hem and more dramatic ruffles on the sleeves.
The Vampire's Wife was launched by Susie Cave, the wife of Australian musician and poet Nick Cave, who helped her dream up the brand's name.
The designer said Beatrice sent her a letter after Goulding's wedding, writing, "Thank you, your dress gave me so much confidence and I felt so good and empowered wearing the dress."
"I had spoken to her about the fact that I design dresses to make you feel confident, and subconsciously I think that comes through," Cave told Vogue.
