$705 detail spotted in Matildas star Mary Fowler's seemingly understated outfit

Mary Fowler has traded her football jersey for luxury fashion.

The Matildas star, 21, enjoyed some time off the pitch for a "girls date night" – and wore quite the accessory for the occasion.

Fowler shared several mirror selfies of her outfit on the night to Instagramwith her fans, pairing her ensemble with a DeMellier handbag.

The accessory appears to be the British brand's The Tokyo bag in black, which The Tokyo bag.

Fowler is often posting photos of her stylish outfits to social media.

Outside of football, the Aussie athlete has dabbled in the fashion and beauty world.

In March 2024, Fowler shared an exciting venture: she was L'Oreal Paris' newest ambassador.

"Since I was young expressing myself authentically has been super important to me, so joining the @lorealparis family only feels right," she captioned photos accompanying the news on Instagram.

"I'm so grateful to stand with so many inspiring women to help others see their self-worth. I'm worth it and so are you."

Fowler opened up about her approach to fashion in an interview with Russh Magazine in February 2024.

The star athlete recalled being "very wild in my style growing up, but I think that suits my personality."

"Even now, I'll wear what I want and I think it's more how you wear it rather than what it is you're wearing."

Aside from her fashion and football pursuits, Fowler has made headlines for her relationship with NRL star, Nathan Cleary.

The couple have been romantically linked since August 2023. They went Instagram official with their relationship in January 2024.

Just last month, the sport power couple kicked off the new year by sharing photos from a holiday they took together in Cairns and the Whitsundays.

"The cute holiday pics he took," Fowler captioned one of her Instagram posts which included several photos of her that seemed to be taken by her boyfriend.
