Meghan Markle has gained a reputation as something of a rebel when it comes to her style selections, however, it seems her sister-in-law was the royal family’s original rule-breaker.
According to a new documentary, William & Kate: The Journey, the palace originally wanted Kate Middleton to wear her hair in an up-do to her April 2011 wedding to Prince William. A hairstyle that many royal brides had adhered to in the past.
Royal reporter, Ashley Pearson shares in the documentary that "The royals indicated very strongly to Kate that they would prefer her to wear her hair up for this very special occasion."
