The adventures of J Lo’s big, pink Giambattista Valli gown

Jennifer Lopez has been busy. Between promo for her movie, Second Act, and her many red carpet appearances and announcements (J Lo skincare coming in 2019!) it's hard to avoid seeing J Lo in the headlines.

Last week her sartorial choices sent her peaking when she attended the world premiere of her movie wearing none other than a Giambattista Valli haute couture gown.

The mullet dress was pink, big and very long making the images of J Lo's arrival a funny must-see.

In a paparazzi photo showing the mother-of-two getting out of the luxe bus she arrived in, her dress was still exiting the vehicle as J Lo was metres ahead.

The gown with a cape that extended into metres of train took up most of the red carpet with photographers struggling to capture her entire outfit in one photo.

Even her partner Alex Rodriguez didn’t stand a chance standing next to her, or sitting close to her inside their ride to and from the event.

In a hilarious photo, shared to her Instagram, J Lo is "sitting ready" (as the image is captioned) in a luxe bus on her way to the premiere. The dress' train completely swamping the seating area, and the personal space of her date, Rodriguez, 43, as he is spotted editing an image of the 49-year-old on his phone.

The American footballer also uploaded a picture of the history-making dress to his Instagram, showing J Lo standing in the car, while he crouches down beside her, the dress completely surrounding them both.

Trust J Lo to wear the fashion equivalent of fairy floss and still look amazing!
