Jennifer Garner’s sassy stab at not being invited to New York Fashion Week

If the powers that be at New York Fashion Week thought they could get away with ignoring one of Hollywood’s biggest superstars they were oh-so-supremely wrong.

In a sarcastic quip posted on Instagram, blockbuster beauty and Hollywood walk of fame honouree Jennifer Garner made a sassy stab at NYFW for not inviting her to its multitude of events.

Sharing a photo of herself proudly rocking a colonial frock and matching bonnet (which, somehow, she still looks great in) 46-year-old Garner highlighted the fact that she hadn’t been invited to one of the biggest fashion weeks in America.

“Thanks, NYC, for another great Fashion Week! My invitations must have been lost on the Pony Express,” the mum-of-three joked, hashtagging ##colonialchic and #toosexyforthisbonnet.

The Hollywood A-lister was sure to hint that she’ll be around to participate in next year’s festivities (*wink*, *wink*).

“I will be ready and available next year!” Garner spelled out.

The Suddenly 30 actress also made it clear she is keen to be a part of the Paris Fashion Week which kicks off on September 25 - October 3, ending her post with the hashtag #theresalwaysparis.

Off-screen, Garner is known for her red carpet prowess and effortless street style.

Just recently, the 46-year-old stunned in a chic black evening gown and little button-up number at two separate events to promote her new film Peppermint.
