The 2020 Grammy Awards red carpet lived up to expectations with plenty of unique looks sure to go down in Grammys history. But there was no entrance more extra than that of Ariana Grande’s.

The "Thank U, Next" singer literally "Thank U, Next"-ed her first gown, changing into a second just-as-impressive outfit all before the stars took their seats inside the Staples Center.

The singer made her impressive arrival wearing a strapless custom Giambattista Valli gown. She looked like she was floating on one big fluffy grey cloud as she floated down the red carpet with matching gloves and custom Louboutin heels -- it was all kinds of ‘extra’.

Moments after she posed for the cameras, Grande was spotted, again, this time in a large ball-gown skirt with a matching crop top.

She hinted at the costume change on her Instagram Stories with a glimpse of the dress in a quick video captioned "Next".

But it wasn't long before she returned to her first gown, donning the fluffy grey cloud again as she made her way into the ceremony.

This isn't the first time Grande went for a 'bigger is better' approach to the Grammys. In 2019, she boycotted the event -- citing creative differences with Grammys producer Ken Ehrlich -- but still celebrated her win for Best Pop Album for her album Sweetener, in a gown just as epic as the two she wore to Sunday's ceremony.

"When @zacposen makes u a custom gown it doesn't matter if you're singing or not... thank u." she caption one of a series of photos of her slumped on the ground surrounded by an impressive periwinkle Zac Posen gown.
