Social media reacts to Jenny Morrison's 'Celebration' dress as husband and former PM concedes election
Jenny Morrison stood beside her husband Scott Morrison on Saturday night as the former Prime Minister conceded election defeat.
But it was the former first lady's dress that captured the attention of social media "and for all the wrong reasons".
The mother-of-two wore a $929 dress by late Australian fashion designer Carla Zampatti, somewhat unfortunately named 'Celebration'.

The dress was an interesting choice for the wife of the former PM, after Zampatti's daughter Allegra Spender was among the "teal Independents" - the female MPs who won seats in traditional Liberal strongholds - with Spender taking Wentworth from Liberal David Sharma.
While Jenny's sky blue caped sleeve dress was within the Liberal Party palette, people on Twitter couldn't resist joking about the colour of the knee-length number.

"Jenny Morrison wearing teal?!?," one person asked with eyeball emojis, another asking: "Um, would you call the colour of Jenny Morrison's dress teal?"
Another wrote: "Jenny Morrison rocking a teal dress".
"Rather fitting/ironic that Jenny Morrison is wearing teal as Scott gives his concession speech," one user tweeter.
While others online compared the look to another former US First Lady.
"I'm getting strong Melania vibes from Jenny Morrison tonight," one person tweeted.
While another Twitter user similarly asked: "Anyone else looking at what Jenny Morrison is wearing tonight and getting Melania inauguration vibes?"

"Jenny Morrison looks like 'Melania Trump but make it Australian," another said.
While others thought the dress more closely resembled an outfit seen on a controversial TV drama.
"Jenny Morrison dressing like one of the wives from The Handmaid's Tale is a bit on the nose," one person wrote.
Another similarly drew comparisons asking: "Who dressed Jenny Morrison as a wife from The Handmaid's Tale?"
"Jenny Morrison's dress is somewhere between a Commander's Wife (Handmaid's Tale) and @WillowPillQueen" another commented.
While it was a cape sleeved dress, there were times when Jenny had her arms hidden from view, giving an untailored effect, which some chose to point out online.
"That's a long a** sleeve Jenny Morrison has," one person commented, while others shared mocking photos.

Not everyone was critical of the fashion choice, though.
"Might I say, Jenny Morrison in that Carla Zampatti is looking fine," one person wrote.
Another said: "WOW, Jenny Morrison and the girls look stunning."
