Three of this week’s most striking celebrity looks have one detail in common
They say birds of a feather flock together, and that is certainly shaping up to be the case on the red carpet this week.
Three of the A-list fashion looks getting group chats fired up over the past few days, courtesy of Daisy Edgar-Jones, Sienna Miller and Penélope Cruz, have one striking detail in common: feathers.

The three actresses – dare we call them our fine-feathered friends – have all embraced the delicate aesthetic for premieres this week.
Overnight, Edgar-Jones attended the Irish premiere of her film Sense & Sensibility in an ensemble best described as angelic.
The actress emerged in Dublin in a floor-length white silk Stella McCartney gown, with feathered ‘wings’ at her shoulders, reaching down her back almost to the waist, adding some serious drama.

Modern romance is clearly the theme for the film’s press tour, and Edgar-Jones has truly nailed it.
Her on-screen mother Caitríona Balfe also dipped a toe into the feather aesthetic, with the hem of her mini dress lined in feathered florals.
Hours earlier, Sienna Miller turned heads in London at the world premiere of her series War.
The screen icon hit the red carpet in black feathers, wearing a breathtaking form-fitting structural gown by Dilara Fındıkoğlu.

The strapless ‘Dark Phoenix’ design created an eye-catching silhouette, thanks to its exaggerated hips.
Meanwhile, over in Canada, Penélope Cruz frosted herself – to invoke How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days – in feathers for the premiere of La Bola Negra at the Toronto Film Festival.

The megastar wore a white couture gown by Aussie designer Tamara Ralph that had delicate ostrich feathers bursting from every inch of its fabric, making Cruz impossible to miss as she walked the red carpet on September 14.
They were especially concentrated at the gown’s skirt.
While it’s been a fabulously feathery week on the red carpet, the aesthetic has been huge throughout 2026.

In fact, feathers were a breakout trend at the Oscars, worn by the likes of Nicole Kidman, Demi Moore, Teyana Taylor and Priyanka Chopra.
Feathered looks similarly dominated this year’s Grammy Awards and made their presence known at Paris Fashion Week back in February. They also featured prominently on the Wuthering Heights press tour, worn by Margot Robbie.
