And fans overnight got the chance to catch a glimpse of what they can expect come May 16, with the cast stepping out at London's Claridge's Hotel for a special sneak peek event.
Although the Netflix show's official premiere is a quarter away, some would argue that it's perfect the sneak peek event took place on Valentine's Day (UK time) – the upcoming season's storyline between friends to kind of enemies to eventual lovers Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton is, after all, arguably one of the most romantic of the whole series.

Nicola Coughlan
It's Penelope Featherington herself!
This season's main star Nicola Coughlan stepped out in a red double-breasted blazer dress by Stella McCartney, which retails for roughly $3770.
She also wore matching red faux-fur heels, but the jury's still out on if her nails also were in the red theme – her hands were completely covered by the dress' sleeves.

The 37-year-old opted for gold heart-shaped earrings on the most romantic day of the year.

She also posed with co-star Luke Newton, who plays her love interest this season.

Newton wore a dark brown set with a lighter shirt underneath.
Luke Thompson, Luke Newton and Claudia Jessie
Actors Luke Thompson and Claudia Jessie posed with Newton, whose character Colin is their on-screen brother.
Claudia Jessie
Jessie, 34, plays Eloise Bridgerton, the second eldest daughter of the Bridgerton children.
She was 17 in the first season, and will be in her late teens in the new season.
Luke Thompson
Here's a look at Thompson's ensemble.
He plays Benedict Bridgerton, whose romance was actually the third one to be published in the books.
This season is the first time the show is deviating from the book order.
Golda Rosheuvel
A total slay from Golda Rosheuvel, but we'd expect nothing less from the real life Queen Charlotte.
