Rute Cardoso put on a powerful display as she arrived on the red carpet for the awards night.
The widow of Diogo Jota, the beloved Portuguese footballer who was killed in a car crash in July alongside his brother André Silva, wore a shimmering white gown which featured a trail of fabric over one shoulder.
It's the first major football event Cardoso has attended following Jota's shock death just two weeks after their wedding.

Princess Charlene of Monaco looked glamorous in white as she attended the event.
The royal looked chic in a white gown, which featured a slight puff on the shoulders before falling down her arms in full sleeves.
She kept her hair and makeup simple to finish the look, opting for a stylish red lip for a pop of colour.
With her hair pulled back, she went with glamorous hoop style earrings to bring a little bit of drama to the otherwise simple look.

Young football superstar Lamine Yamal went with a stylish all black look for the event.
Yamal, a winger for La Liga club Barcelona, flashed a huge smile for the as he arrived.
He posed for the cameras solo, but he did have some very special guests with him...

The 18-year-old Spanish sensation tenderly held the hand of his grandmother as they walked the red carpet together.
At one point during their time on the red carpet, the athlete planted a kiss on top of her head as they posed for the cameras. How sweet!

Ballon D'Or may be the biggest awards night in football, but it was definitely a family affair this year.

She wore a sleek black gown, paired with a dramatic belt to cinch in her waist.
