TikTok is obsessed with this devoted Pitbull who refuses to leave his 'wife's' side after she gave birth

A proud father Pitbull has been praised online for staying by his 'wife's' side after she gave birth to a litter of puppies.

In a now-viral TikTok, owner Roddy shared a video of his pet dog, named OG, dutifully sitting behind the mother Pitbull, called Redbone, during feeding time.

Roddy captured the tender moment OG refused to leave Redbone's side as their eight newborn pups nursed.

"Listen, king, we need to take some notes from you," Roddy told OG as he filmed.

"I mean, the babies [are] feeding. You're just making sure your woman is relaxed and loved. I mean, you know what, I raised you to be OK, man. You stay by your baby mama, watching your babies eat... You all right with me, OG."

The video struck a chord with millions of TikTokers, who were amazed by OG's devotion to his wife.

Roddy's clip attracted over 3 million views and thousands of comments.

"These babies have a better family dynamic then most human beings," one woman wrote.

"I am amazed at how much affection he shows," another person said.

One even joked: "I wish I could find a man as good as this dog."

Roddy has also shared several adorable videos of OG learning to look after his eight new puppy children.

Some of the clips show how gentle and loving the Pitbull is with the newborn pups, with users labelling him "father of the year".
