Use a dog conditioning spray

When grooming your pooch, it's a good idea to use a dog conditioning spray.

"I am amazed what a difference these make as they really help lift out loose hair," Warren says. "Lift the undercoat if you've got a double coated dog and reduce flyways."

This will really help manage your dog's coat.

Choose the right surfaces

Keep in mind your pet's coat when thinking about your home.

"Don't get dark brown floor boards if you have a white pet and choose covers for your furniture," Warrens says.

It's not surprising that it can be much easier to clean fur from floorboards rather than fur wedged and stuck in carpet.

Having floorboards also helps other cleaning processes especially when you've got little puppies in training too.

Use throws around the house

"Make sure they are easy to wash and dry," Warren advises. "This is life changing."

It's a simple and effective way to protect furniture too.

Use a damp rubber glove as an adhesive

Using a damp rubber glove essentially acts as an adhesive for the fur to stick to.
