Let's ditch those family stickers on cars
Those stick-figure families on the backs of SUVs everywhere, have got the 9Mums crew talking.
This week on 9Mums TV, 9Mums Editor Kelly Baker and 9Mums Associate Producer, Melinda Ayre, have a lighthearted chit-chat about peeling off those stickers — once and for all.
If you're been under a rock or haven't driven a car in ten years — then you might not know what these family stickers are.
Well, they kind of look like this.
They sit boldly on back windscreens, telling every single person driving behind you about every single member of your stick family that could possibly be in your car at any given time — and that's including cats, dogs, even inanimate objects that might be in your car, like a skateboard for instance.
As 9Mums mama Melinda tells it, these stickers are a status symbol. A way of shouting out to the world that you can procreate and keep a husband.
They kind of yell: "I've got seven children. I've got a husband. I'm really, really a lot better than you," says Kelly Baker.
We'd love to hear what you think, so join the conversation on our 9Mums Facebook page here ...
