One proud dad is starting his kid's self-defence training early, with baby Joshua showing off his incredible skills on TikTok.

In a recent video, Cezar Galvao Nascimento, himself a Taekwondo master, takes 18-month-old Josh through a series of impressive moves.

The video begins with both dad and baby bowing for the camera. Then Nascimento puts an array of items in his child's mouth, including a toothbrush, a ball, a Lego block, a grape, and even a single cheerio - which Josh is able to kick out of his dad's mouth with skill and precision each time.

"Incredible depth perception," commented another. "This baby is already a legend," said one commenter.

"I think I know who is getting calls from school everyday," joked another.

Dad Cezar assured the commenters that Josh knows what he is doing.

"He is disciplined to only do this with me or someone that I give him the command to," the dad commented.

Joshua has been trained from a young age by his dad, who says he noticed Josh's ability from eight-months-old.

"He could barely walk, he was grabbing stuff, and he raised his leg and started kicking me. I'm like, 'Woah,'" Nascimento told InspireMore.

"I trained for 30 years, he got it at one-year-old," commented Cezar.

"Martial arts builds up the skills in the children, they feel like they're superheroes. That's why we call him 'superbaby.'"

There are multiple videos of Josh demonstrating his skills in every environment possible, delivering strong kicks to everything from water tanks, playground poles, trees, traffic cones, rubbish bins, and more.

Though many are impressed by the baby's skills, others are concerned that it might foster destructive behaviour.

However, Josh's dad brushes this off, saying "We teach him respect, (to) love one another. I'm building him to become better and stronger to face life."
