Heavily pregnant tennis star Serena Williams has hit that point in her pregnancy where simple things have become difficult.

Like turning over in bed at night while trying to sleep.

And as all modern expectant mums tend to do, she has reached out for help on social media.

"Any tips on how to turn over at night? I'm having trouble from going from my left ....to my right.... to my left side," she posted on Tuesday night.

Well, what you do is, you sort of flail around until you tire yourself out, give up and fall into a restless sleep....would be my advice.

Thankfully, much better advice was given than mine, as would be expected from a Twitter audience of 8.81 million followers.

"Silk or satin sheets, the more slippery the better," advised Sarah.

"Wake up @alexisohanian and make him help," Renee said, referring to Williams' fiance and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, 34.

"Try supporting your bump with pillows and putting one between your knees," suggested RoyalCollegeObsGyn.

"Get a pregnancy pillow which curves around you," replied Caroline.

Where were these 8.81 million people when I was pregnant?

Such excellent advice.

Other Twitter followers suggested using her legs more when attempting to change positions, turning face-down instead of face-up and JaVanka who said, "Just throw a back-hand and the baby will follow."

Serena Williams, 35, is seven-months-pregnant so is at the pointy end of the experience of baby-making.

At this stage of the pregnancy she can expect to find herself less mobile, particularly when trying to get up from lying or sitting positions and possible swollen legs and ankles as well as random aches and pains that can only be cured by child birth.

Williams has two more months of pregnancy to go, and counting.

Maybe instead of being sponsored by the likes of Puma, Nike and Aston Martin, Maternity Pillow or Pregnancy Sleeping can come on board.

The tennis star was most recently spotted out and about watching sister Venus compete in the Wimbledon final at the weekend, the 37-year-old losing out to Garbine Muguruza, 23.
