Mum shows off epic 'pretend town' playroom
Many parents dream of having a playroom. Somewhere to keep all the kids' toys in one place - and a door to close at the end of the day to hide away the mess. However one mum has taken her child's playroom to the next level.
The US mum has shown off the blissful playroom she created for her young daughter, Lyla, which is actually a 'pretend town'. A video on the family's TikTok account Blissfully the Bensons explains while the playroom might not be aesthetically pleasing, it is loads of fun.
The mum takes her followers on a tour of the 'town' complete with a market, pizzeria, house area with kitchen and baby accessories, a bakery, a hospital, a spa and salon and even a school.

"This whole area is also interactive," she explained, urging her followers to watch her other videos for more specific information on how she created each of the separate play zones inside the room.
The woman said her followers could watch the video to get a "tonne of inspiration" if they were planning to recreate their own playroom, telling one follower they made room in their home by getting rid of their guest room.
Her almost 38,000 followers were quick to praise the room. "I am obsessed with this!" wrote one, while another said, "I would have loved this as a kid!"

Many followers loved how she had used black tape to mark out the different sections. TikTok
"Everything about this is perfect!" said another while someone else wrote, "I'm 25 and I'm jealous of this!". "The black tape on walls is brilliant design," said another.
