Parenting rule 'cool mum' Pink won't back down on

Grammy award winning singer Pink may be a 'cool mum' but it doesn't mean she is easy-going when it comes to letting her kids have a phone.

The famous mother-of-two has revealed that despite her daughter 10-year-old Willow requesting one, she isn't allowing her to have a phone yet as she "isn't there yet."

"She pointed out to me yesterday, 'You know most of the kids in my class, fifth grade, have a phone.' That doesn't move my needle. I don't care," the mum said in an interview with Carson Daly from Today where she spoke about her hesitation to cross the technology line.

While promoting a collaboration with wellness app Calm where she has recorded bedtime stories to help children go to sleep, Pink revealed the topic of phones does come up in her house.

"There's a light side and a shadow side to technology in general for adults, as well," she said. "For kids, I'm not there yet."

And while she isn't completely against technology when it comes to her kids, Pink says she is cautious with 10-year-old Willow and her son Jameson who is five. "We can't be dinosaurs ourselves as parents, we have to sort of embrace it and go with it," she revealed.

Pink admitting that her kids are 'minion obsessed' at the moment and says it's something she has to listen to every single night.

The rockstar mum also opened up a little about what bedtime looks like in her house saying, "Our bedtime routine is sumo-wrestling!"
