Brilliant reason this mum has three doorbells in her kitchen cupboard

One mum has shared a brilliant, and simple, hack that saves her from having to yell out to her teenagers whenever she wants them to come downstairs.

"Tired of shouting (at) the kids? Try doorbells. Put one in each bedroom, no shouting," read the captions of her TikTok video. The video shows the mum simply pressing each of the doorbells installed in her kitchen cabinet, summoning her three teenagers downstairs.

"That is genius," said one commenter. "Need to get some, why did I not think of this," said another. "I bought these, my neighbours are so much happier," said another commenter.

"I've done this and it works great," said one mum, "Less shouting and if they ignore I just keep pressing until they appear

But others said their similar attempts were not as successful.

"I have these and my teens hate it and turn it off- ugh," said one mum. "I did this for my 15 year old he just unplugged it," one mum said.

Others shared their tips to get their kids downstairs with minimal fuss.

"I just ring mine and say dinner and hang up," said one mum.

"I just tell Alexa to make an announcement and it goes off in every room of the house," said another.
