Morgan Wallen's son rushed to ER after family dog bites two-year-old's face

Country singer Morgan Wallen's two-year-old son Indigo is 'OK' after a terrifying ordeal over the weekend involving the family dog.

The toddler was rushed to the emergency room after his mother KT Smith's dog bit him in the face on Sunday.

"[Indigo] had to have stitches, and we spent yesterday morning at the emergency room," the mum revealed to her nearly 400,000 Instagram followers.

In a series of posts to her social media page, Indigo's mum said he may be left with a small scar from the ordeal.

"His scar will be minimum – he did have stitches, but he'll be OK," she explained.

The mum since updating fans on her son's condition and the family dog.

Following the scary incident, Smith has spent the last few days contemplating whether she should put her two-year-old dog Legend down.

"He hasn't shown any bit of aggression before at all," the mum said on her stories.

"I know there are options that I could have done, with keeping him with a muzzle on around the house – he doesn't deserve that either."

Wallen's ex revealing the past few days have been, "extremely hard and full of tears."

"I can't be a mom that keeps a dog in the house when my child is also traumatized, probably, from that," Smith continued. "I can't be a good dog mom to him, keeping a muzzle on him."

The influencer adopted the rescue Great Pyrenees in April 2022. She has previously revealed to fans that she and the dog "kind of saved each other" at the time.

Though despite their connection, she could no longer have the dog and her son living under the same roof.

So Smith found a new home for the pooch, "he will be living out his full potential and best life on a farm."

The distraught mum thanking fans online for "crying with me and lifting me up."

Smith and Wallen welcomed their son Indigo in July 2020 – following their official separation.
