Millennial and Gen Z baby names already going extinct, say experts

It seems like they were born just yesterday, but the experts at BabyCenter say these Millennial and Gen Z baby names are already falling out of favour with the new it-crowd between 2022 and 2023.

"Girls' names that were popular when Millennials were being born have fallen from grace in the past decade," says BabyCenter.

"These were all in the top 100 in the 1980s and '90s, but declined in popularity in 2023."

The name Brooke saw the biggest drop, going down 198 spots. It is an English name meaning stream.
