Matty J opens up about being trolled on social media: 'Maybe he found it confronting'
Father-of-two and TikTok guru Matty J has spoken to 9Honey Parenting about an incident where he was trolled on social media.
While admitting that the vast majority of his followers are supportive of his relatable content about parenting, the former reality star and 9Honey columnist was attacked over one particular video he published in September this year.
"I was dressed as Cinderella and wearing a dress with Marlie-Mae," Matty reveals. "And a guy messaged me and said, 'Did you always plan on wasting your life making stupid videos like this'."

The doting girl dad said he "wrote back to the guy" and told him he was just trying to have a laugh.
"I took a screengrab and put it out there, and fortunately the response from the rest of my followers was overwhelmingly positive."
"Maybe he found it confronting I was wearing a dress," he added.

Matty and his fiancée Laura Byrne share two girls, Marlie-Mae, two and Lola, 10 months, and are usually praised for their relatable content about parenting.
"We try to give people an insight into the reality of parenting," he told 9Honey Parenting. "We don't want to sugar coat it."
