Leila McKinnon shares daughter’s accidental X-rated ‘turtle’ drawing
Life with kids means there’s a surprise in store for parents every day.
Leila McKinnon received the ultimate surprise from her daughter, Gwendolen, with a rather X-rated drawing.
The A Current Affair journalist took to Instagram to share what was meant to be a drawing of a “turtle”, but ended up looking like something very different.
“When your little girl draws a…..turtle?” the 46-year-old captioned the photo.
While the four-year-old’s artistic efforts were admirable, the drawing unfortunately did not resemble a turtle.
Many flocked the comments section of the photo, hilariously reacting to the accidental X-rated piece of art.
“Oh my that is the best thing I’ve seen in a while,” Beau Ryan’s wife, Kara, commented.
Meanwhile fellow journalist Kate Waterhouse simply responded with a series of laughing emojis.
Others also offered some witty commentary in response to the drawing.
“Looks like the old war horse has seen a bit of action,” one person said.
“Wish I had a turtle like that,” another cheekily wrote.
Leila gave birth to her daughter in 2014 with husband David Gyngell.
The couple also have a six-year-old son Ted, who was born after Leila went through four years of IVF treatment.
Back in February, the mum-of-two had to rush her little girl to hospital as she had a temperature and was having trouble breathing.
Leila praised the help she received from the Health Direct hotline, which helped go through her daughter’s symptoms and eventually determined Gwendolen should go to hospital.
Luckily the little one made a full recovery, and is now able to produce artistic masterpieces of “turtles”.
