Jules Sebastian has a sneaky way of getting her children to eat healthy.

The blogger and stylist has made a series of subtle food swaps in her two sons' daily diet, without them realising.

"They love these smoothies that I make, and they have no idea it's packed with all the good things and they just think they're a treat," Jules tells Deb Knight in this week's Honey Mums podcast.

"Just the small things - switching from white to brown rice and less treats, the kids don’t know the difference."

Jules and her husband, singer Guy Sebastian, are parents to Hudson, six, and Archer, four.

Their recent health kick came after Guy was asked to be on the cover of Mens Health.

"We took it upon ourselves to get healthy and fit – and it was always sort of a joke with us [Guy doing the cover] but he was like, 'Right, this is it. Let's do this'," she says.

"It really did change our whole household.

"I couldn’t believe it once I heard the statistics," she says.

"Families might go through a bit of a hardship – say your car breaks down and that's $5000 you need to pay. And for some people it comes down to, 'Am I going to pay the bill or am I going to feed my family?'

"It's not just about people living on the street, it could be anyone."
