As a winner of Nine's The Block, Elyse Knowles knows how to make a home look good.

Though since welcoming eight-month-old Sunny into the world, it's been a lot harder to keep her home looking put together and stylish. She has recently however, found a practical way to keep the clutter to a minimum.

"I have a big wooden toy box that I put all of his toys in and that can be moved around from space to space. We even take it outside", she told 9Honey Parenting. "And I also have a basket in the living room that the toys go into. They come flying back out, but then they go back in."

Elyse says the key to keeping her home looking put together is doing a quick pack up every time Sunny goes to sleep.

"Just making sure you put it away after each session. Clean it up, start fresh!", she advised.

Another thing that has helped keep her stylish Byron Bay home looking good is incorporating Sunny's essential baby items into it's aesthetic. She has been able to do this thanks to a new collaboration with Fisher Price.

The Elyse Knowles x Fisher Price Collection features six key products that most new parents need to purchase for a new addition, with products starting from just $59.

The range which is available in Target includes a Baby's Bouncer ($59), Infant-to-Toddler Rocker ($79) and Take Along Swing & Seat ($119). There is also a Soothing View Bassinet ($139), 4-in-1 Tub ($89) and SpaceSave High Chair ($99) launching in 2022.

Knowles designed each item with style and space-saving in mind, making sure they "compliment and not invade the living space".

"They are simple and stylish solutions. They're not too 'poppy' with colour but I rather used natural tones inspired by the Australian landscape and it's fauna", she explained.

Being such an adventurous family Knowles also wanted to make each item portable.

"For us it was about having a chair that we could take away with us. The Fisher Price Bassinet we can take travelling when we are with friends or camping. This was essential", she told 9Honey Parenting.

Elyse and her partner Josh Barker welcomed their son Sunny into the world in February 2021. Due the lockdowns across NSW throughout the year, the new parents have been spending a lot of time at their home in Byron Bay with their new addition.

Though, Elyse says they have been trying to spend as much time as they can outdoors with Sunny.

"We've been very fortunate to be spending time outside but the only thing he hasn't been able to do is spend time with family. He has probably looked at their face on FaceTime a lot more than in real life", Knowles shared.
