Hilaria Baldwin has continued to give updates on her miscarriage experience, sharing an update for what appeared to be a doctor’s appointment.

Just hours after confirming she had suffered a miscarriage, the 35 year old shared a photo of herself with husband Alec Baldwin on Instagram with the caption, “Doing this… wish me luck.”

The mum-of-four then followed up with another photo of herself updating her followers on her appointment.

“It went well,” she wrote. “I’m awake. One foot in front of the other.”

In both of the images Baldwin appears to be wearing a hospital gown, so it’s thought the model was at a doctor’s appointment following the confirmation she had suffered a miscarriage.

In a recent appearance on the US Today Show, Baldwin defended her reasoning for being so open about her miscarriage in order to encourage other women not have to “deal with it silently”.

“You're definitely not supposed to say anything before 12 weeks, and some of that is because people are superstitious, or that's how they feel they're going to be stronger, and a lot of it, for other people is from fear,” she said.

“I don't think we have to live with such fear.”

A few hours later the yoga teacher announced the news she had suffered a miscarriage, after it was found the embryo had no heartbeat at Baldwin’s most recent scan.

“There was no heartbeat today at my scan...so it’s over...but I have some pretty strong and amazing heartbeats right here,” she captioned a sweet photo of her family together.

Baldwin – who is mum to Carmen, five, Rafael, three, Leonardo, two, and 11 month old Romeo – also added she hoped that sharing her story would help the conversation surrounding miscarriage to “grow”.
