Teenagers can humble even the biggest of stars, and actress Gwyneth Paltrow is proof. The mum-of-two has shared the "traumatising" reason her teen children did not approve of her phone lock screen - and decided to change it.

"My lock screen was a picture of Brad (Falchuk) without his shirt on," she wrote in the April 18 edition of the "Goop" newsletter, referring to her second husband. "And my kids were so traumatised that they picked up the phone and took this selfie."

The blurry selfie features Paltrow's teenage children, Apple, 17, and Moses ,16, both staring into the camera, with Apple holding up a "rock on" sign above her head.

Paltrow shares her children with ex-husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. She married writer and executive producer Falchuk in a lavish Hamptons ceremony in 2018.

Jokes and teasing aside, Paltrow often expresses her love and adoration for her kids publicly.

For Moses' 16th Birthday recently, she dedicated a touching Instagram post to him.

"Since you came into the world on that perfectly New York spring morning, you have made the world a better place," she wrote in the caption accompanying a picture of Moses surrounded by balloons.
