Dad exposes toy company for almost ruining his son's Christmas

One dad is furious after the poor packaging from a toy store led to an "awkward" conversation with his children, almost spoiling the magic of Christmas.

UK Radio DJ Jason "JK" King took to Instagram to call out the company for their shoddy service.

He tells his followers to rethink buying from Smyths Toys, after his children, who were home from school, accidentally saw the toys that were "supposed to be presents from a certain somebody at Christmas!!"

"My son saw the Jurassic World and Lego logos poking out of the parcels and both of those gifts were on his Christmas list. He can spot Lego from miles away, he's like a hawk, and said, 'That's the present I asked for from Father Christmas!" King told The Sun.

"It puts you as a parent in an awkward position and it frustrates me."

King was livid to see the company's explanation, stating that they "can only assume that the warehouse choose not to wrap large items due to the fact that this is a very time consuming practice and with the current demand our priority is getting our customers their orders as quickly as possible."

"I mean, if any package arrives half wrapped, it's bad service. Let alone kids toys at Christmas," remarked King.

Many commenters agreed that this was unacceptable practice, especially around the holidays.

"Christ on a bike, what awful service - I mean who's wrapping these packages? Some bad elves out there…I'd be fuming," said one commenter.

"It's not good enough from a multimillion-pound corporation and I think they need to take more care that the magic of Christmas stays alive - they have a massive responsibility!" King told The Sun.
