Christmas tree recalled over 'choking hazard' fears
An urgent recall has been issued for a Christmas tree which may pose a choking risk to young children.
An alert from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission says the West Avenue Christmas trees, sold online at Catch.com.au, contain painted white tips and artificial snow which may fall off and become a choking hazard.
The notice calls for the West Avenue 1.8m snow tipped artificial Christmas tree and the West Avenue 2.1m snow tipped artificial Christmas tree (Model numbers: SYCT-21 and SYCT-22) to be disposed of as soon as possible, after which customers can contact Catch.com.au for a full refund.
