Amanda says she gave both of her daughters names beginning with the letter K - Karah and Kinah – but has since come to regret that decision.
She shared her story in a stitch to a TikTok video by comedian Gabby Lamb, who asked parents, "I have a question for parents, do you ever regret what you named your kid?"
"I do regret naming my kids with the same first letter, why would I do that? Honestly, I don't know who came up with the idea, but I'm sitting there calling my kids different names – Karah, Kinah, Karah, Kinah."
"Like, I looked at my mum when she called me a different name, like, 'How could you forget my name, Mum?' and here I am doing the same thing," the mum added.

"Who came up with that idea? Please tell me."
However, Amanda was seemingly not alone with a number of parents sympathising with the mum in the comments of the TikTok.
One amused mum chuckled: "I have two 'R' kid names. Worst idea ever."
"It's a mum thing! My brother and I start with different letters and she always calls us different names," another TikTok user added.
