TikTok couple Cheryl and Quran have already earned ire online for their 37-year age gap, but that has not stopped them from sharing that they are seriously looking to have a baby, even having interviewed three surrogates so far.

Cheryl McGregor, 62, and her 25-year-old boyfriend Quran McCain, both from Georgia in the United States, have already created a stir with their many couple videos on TikTok, participating in trends and showing off their relationship.

But now they have shared their commitment to bringing a baby into the world, speaking to British morning TV show This Morning about their baby planning.

Cheryl, who is already a mum-of-seven through another relationship, said on the show, "They said, I guess, just because of my age I can't take care of a baby. What? I have got more energy than half of these kids that are taking care of babies now and I don't see it as a problem.

"No, I cannot have a baby myself but we have done the surrogacy thing where we already had three surrogates, and right now we are looking for another one and also maybe adoption."

The couple said they had tried to get pregnant naturally but due to Cheryl's age, they were unable to, and so turned to surrogacy or adoption.

However, the couple have heard of surrogacy going wrong with the surrogates later claiming parental rights or suing for financial gain, and so were considering Cheryl's two daughters as potential surrogates – before they both got hysterectomies in the last few years.

Cheryl says convincing her children that her and Quran's relationship "wasn't a joke" has been a "battle".

"Out of my seven children they were saying he was using me. We weren't using each other, we can't help who our hearts fall in love with," she says.

"I really have two, but one who really stands by us through everything, and it took a while to come to that conclusion that they like him."

The couple first met while they were working at US franchise Dairy Queen, when Quran was 15.

But they didn't begin their relationship until much later in 2020, when Quran, then a caretaker, spotted Cheryl working as a cashier at a convenience store.

They got married in 2021 after Quran proposed on a live stream to 20,000 people. Their wedding was also livestreamed, and the couple even have their own OnlyFans account for their more intimate content.

Cheryl defended their relationship, saying her bond with her husband is different.

"There's just something between him and I that I never thought we would be together like this, he's just an amazing person.

"I couldn't have that with anybody else, he's very emotional and that's something I've never dealt with. They were all angry and he's emotional in a good way because he shows me he really cares.

"There's a different type of chemistry with him even though he's younger, we have a lot of chemistry because of the things we've been through and it pulls us closer together."

Quran even gushed about their sex life, sharing that it "gets better and better every time. It's pretty normal, it's not out of the ordinary, but to me it's amazing.

"She knows what she's doing, that's the best part!"

As for their haters, the pair say they're "just going to keep living our lives because we are happy, we are very much happy, this is a happy healthy marriage, we are looking to start our family, and that's all we got."
