Dutch grandma fulfils 99-year dream of being arrested

Given how much she enjoyed being arrested, it's a miracle this 99-year-old grandmother did not pursue a life of crime.

A Dutch grandma had the unusual request of getting arrested on her bucket list, and officers at Nijmegen Zuid were thrilled to help out.

"Her niece came to us with this request," one officer said.

"When she was reporting a crime, she told the police officer about Annie's bucket list.

"You get many unusual requests with this profession. We thought it would be nice to do something special for Annie."

Grandma Annie looks absolutely delighted at being handcuffed and locked in a cell in photos posted on Facebook by the police.

Grinning from ear to ear, one can't help but worry that she'll now start committing crimes just to get the thrill of being arrested.
