Melbourne mum to receive $9.6mil after incredible double lottery win
A Melbourne mum will receive $40,000 per month for the next 20 years after an incredible double lottery win.
According to The Lott, the unnamed Langwarrin woman bought two tickets in the Set for Life prize - one for herself, and one for her husband - that both included their “special” marked numbers.
The entries, purchased online, were part of the couple’s wedding anniversary celebrations.

“We don’t really do much for our wedding anniversary these days, so I thought why not buy some Set for Life tickets and that could be our present,” the woman tells The Lott.
It paid off. Friday's draw revealed the couple held both first prize entries, thereby doubling the prize of $20,000 monthly payments over 20 years. Their dual winnings will total $9.6 million.
The marked numbers chosen by the winning pair included dates that were personally significant to them - including their children’s birthdays and their wedding anniversary.
