Mum's doorbell camera catches woman sneaking date into house
A woman who thought she had successfully sneaked a man into her family home has been outed by the family's doorbell camera.
Carley Weaver had headed out for the night when, it appears, she met someone she wanted to spend more time with.
In footage she has since shared on TikTok (@carley_weaver1), we see Weaver shushing someone as she approaches the front door. She then attempts to disable the alert system attached to the doorbell camera that would message her mother, alerting her someone had entered the home.

The video cuts to texts from Weaver's mum, who had been alerted to the unexpected guest.
"Do you have someone there?" she wrote, followed by: "Who is in your bed this am?"

Having not received a response from her daughter to either of these questions, she sends the message: "Hello missy... are you not awake yet??? How about your bed partner???"
She then tries to disable the doorbell camera alert system. TikTok
Clearly seeing the humour in the situation, Weaver shared the footage and texts in a TikTok video.
"When you thought you deactivated the ring and wake up to texts from your mom. What a great way to start the year!" she wrote.
The video has since been viewed 2.9 million times, with Weaver's TikTok followers sharing her amusement.

"My mom would have been in my room, opening blinds, vacuuming, asking questions," says another.
"Same bae except it was my father," writes another.
The woman confirmed she and her mother were still laughing over the exchange, writing in the comments section of the video: "My mom and I are besties she laughed when I told her the story. She was just caught off guard."

She says her plan had been to tell her mum about her guest when she got home, instead of through the doorbell camera alert system.
"I'm only referring to my fiancé as my 'bed partner' from this day forward," writes on TikTok follower.
