What Diana kept from Charles when she was pregnant with Harry
Princess Diana knew she was having another boy, when she was pregnant with Prince Harry, but kept it a secret from Prince Charles.
A royal biographer, Andrew Morton, revealed that Diana told him "I knew Harry was going to be a boy because I saw on the scan" saying that she didn't tell her husband as "Charles always wanted a girl".
The royal couple welcomed Prince William in 1982, less than a year after getting married with Diana falling pregnant again with Harry around two years later.

Morton said Diana told him that her husband "wanted two children, and he wanted a girl"
She added "I knew Harry was a boy, and I didn't tell him."
Morton said in his autobiography, Diana: Her True Story - in Her Own Words that Princess Diana told him that although she was ecstatic when Harry was born in 1984, Charles was 'less enthusiastic'.

When their second child was born he reportedly said "Oh God, it's a boy" then commenting on the newborn's hair saying "and he's even got red hair."
Prince Charles' apparently made it very clear he was unhappy with his second born son, reportedly telling Diana's mother, Frances Kydd: "We were so disappointed — we thought it would be a girl" at Harry's christening.
According to Morton, in Diana said that her mother snapped at him, telling her son-in-law "You should realise how lucky you are to have a child that's normal".
Diana and Charles divorced in 1996, with Diana tragically passing away in a car accident in 1997.
