Couple take their wedding photos at Costco for this cheesy reason

One newlywed couple is taking cheesy photos to the next level.

Brandon and Jessica from Oahu, Hawaii chose to take some wedding pictures at their local Costco in Waipahu, after meeting there over a box of mac and cheese.

The stunning photos were captured by photographer Lisa Rose, who tells 9Honey the shoot "really was a fun, happy experience".

Lisa, a friend of the couple, also photographed Brandon's 2018 proposal, then their engagement pictures before taking their wedding photos in May 2019.

"It became a joke between us that if they ever got married we’d go back and pay tribute to where it all began," the Lisa Rose Photography HI owner explains.

"We couldn’t just let the Costco idea fizzle, so they got dressed up again a month after their wedding and we went and had some fun!"

Doing a photoshoot while customers do their groceries could have made it challenging but Lisa says it only added to the vibe 'on-set'.

"Little girls were looking at Jess as if she was a real life princess, workers were congratulating them... it was great.

"Some workers even helped stop traffic for a few seconds so we could safely get a running shot out front... the Aloha Spirit was in full force that day!

"It really was a fun, happy experience and we brought smiles to so many faces who caught a glimpse of us being silly," she tells 9Honey.

Costco then proudly shared the images on their Facebook page this week - and they've already had over 17,000 reactions, over 8,000 comments and close to 2,000 shares.

The retailers also told the story of how the couple met at their store, when Jessica was there with her roommate in 2017.

Jessica filmed an Instagram Story about the mac and cheese, asking her followers if she should buy it or not.

"I was saying how I wish it was good for you!" Jessica said.

After she finished recording the clip Brandon, who had seen her filming, approached her and said: "It’s good for you. It’s cheese – and it’s Costco."

The pair chatted in the aisle briefly before exchanging numbers. Three months later, they went on their first date to a local restaurant.

And the rest, as they say, is history — although Jessica once joked: "Sometimes I️ take him back to where it all started...so he knows I️ can return him if he acts up."
