The twins shared a video to their YouTube channel titled Overdue Update! where Carmen told followers that something "pretty big" had happened in her life.

Holding her left hand up to the camera, the 25-year-old excitedly exclaimed, "I did get married!"

To avoid any confusion, Lupita quickly chimed in, saying "I did not".

McCormack wore a dark suit, matching his wife with a green bow tie.

Although most brides opt for a white dress, Carmen said she does not regret her choice to wear green, saying "I don't like white".

Carmen and McCormack said a small wedding was something that they agreed on.

"I don't like those weddings where they invite the third cousin twice removed," McCormack said.

"I'm just, like, 'I'm sorry, but great-uncle Patrick, who I haven't seen since I was three [is] not worth a seat at my table.'"

Carmen added that because of her social anxiety, a small ceremony is exactly what she wanted.

The twins, who live in Connecticut‌ but were born in Mexico, ‌are attached along their chest walls down to their pelvis.

They only have one leg each.

Carmen and McCormack met on Hinge in 2020 with Carmen saying she had come across a lot of men on the platform with fascinations around them being conjoined twins.

"I knew right off the bat that Daniel was different from the others, because he didn't lead with a question about my condition," she said.

"I have social anxiety, and I've ended up cancelling dates at the last minute, but I felt calm on the way there."
