Wife sees hilarious clown wedding photobomb on one-year anniversary

Wedding photos: so nice, right? Unless, you know, they have a terrifying clown in them.

Vincent Alexander surprised wife Manda on their one-year anniversary with an outtake from their wedding-day shoot.

Yes, that clown is holding a knife. Yes, this is the most horrifying thing you've ever seen.

And yes, Manda had absolutely no idea.

"After a year of keeping a secret, she finally opened her anniversary gift," Vincent wrote on Facebook last week, alongside a video of Manda unwrapping her incredibly confronting gift with a mix of delight and total terror.

"I am shocked she never found out... The pressure is finally off. Happy anniversary sweetheart, I love you to death."

If the clown doesn't kill her first, I guess.

Said clown is in fact Vincent's brother, Matt, who agreed to play the pivotal role in Vincent's prank – along with photographer Megan Bowling of Pop of Color Images, who somehow managed not to laugh (or cry) while she captured the outrageous moment.

"I don't know how everyone kept this from me!" Manda commented when Megan shared the shot on her photography page. "I absolutely LOVE this photo... even though I still hate clowns."

This correctly sums up the situation, we feel.

"Clown or no clown I thought it was the sweetest. I love how passionate Vince was about the whole thing," Megan replied. "It really shows how much he knows and loves you."

That love certainly showed through in her shots of the rest of the wedding, which looked truly lovely.
