Celebrity couple reignites age-old debate over when is 'too early' for Christmas decorations
A seemingly innocent social media post of Christmas decorations has reignited a divisive argument:
When is it too early to decorate for the festive season?
Television star Mark Wright and actress Michelle Keegan have showed off the lavish lights, trees and baubles that now adorn their Georgian-style home.
The video, accompanied by Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas gave more than half a million viewers a look at the couple's indoor ornaments and sparkling tree.

"It's that time of year again!! The best time of the year!!," the post was captioned.
"Just when you think @4.seasonevents can't do any better…. Killed it 🎅"
Unsurprisingly, social media users had plenty of opinions about whether they had busted out the Christmas cheer too early.

An age-old debate, people either embrace the festive spirit the moment Halloween ends, wait until December or ignore the holiday all together.
Wright and Keegan's video has reignited the question of when it is appropriate to start decorating.
"People just get earlier and earlier!! Spoils the magic now," one user wrote.

Echoing that sentiment, another added, "It's stunning. It's too early for me personally, but I love it!!"
Other users were concerned that the pair were not respecting the "remembrance" period.
"And there was me thinking that [this] time of year post would be about Remembrance Sunday…"
Remembrance Day is observed on 11 November in most places to honour the armed forces who lost their lives in the First World War.

Many viewers felt that if the pair could afford to splash out on making their home festive, they should be able to enjoy it for as long as they like.
"The effort and cost of this - why wouldn't you enjoy it for longer! God forbid people spread the happiness earlier," one wrote.
"I'd have mine all year round if I had this house," another agreed.
