Cheating husband catches coronavirus while visiting mistress

A UK husband has tested positive for coronavirus after visiting his mistress in Italy.

His wife is now in self-isolation and the man has told health authorities that she has no idea how he caught the disease.

The businessman - who has not been identified - has been visited by public health coordinators in the north of England. It's their job to figure out how he caught the virus and who he has come into contact with since.

The cheating husband, who is aged in his late-30s, presented to his local hospital with symptoms of coronavirus and was diagnosed with COVID-19.

He has refused to name his mistress.

A source told The Sun that the story would be funny if it weren't so serious.

"The man confessed what he'd been up to in Italy, and that his wife has no idea," the said. "She thinks he just picked up the disease on his business trip away.
