Bridesmaid dyes her hair pink ahead of wedding - bride loses her mind

A bride has blown up on an online forum after one of her bridesmaids dyed her hair pink ahead of her wedding.

Pink, of all the colours she could have chosen.

And just so the offending bridesmaid's bold move can't be mistaken for anything other than what it is, the bride spells it out plainly in her post on mumsnet.

"My bridesmaid has dyed her hair this week a horrible pink colour and I am getting married next Saturday," the bride writes. "Am I being unreasonable to ask her to dye it back or uninvite her from the wedding?

"For context she is incredibly self-centered and always wants the attention to be focused on herself and I think she has done it just to stick out in the photos."

The first and most obvious question asked in response to the post has been, "Why did you ask a woman you obviously dislike to be your bridesmaid?"

"If you already knew that about her and you think her hair is about standing out, why did you ask her to be bridesmaid," asked another forum user. "From the sounds of it, you would have been expecting something like this."

"Dye yours pink to match," is the most unhelpful suggestion so far.

"No of course you can’t ask/tell her to dye it back, or dis-invite her," says another. "You surely wouldn’t have asked someone other than a friend or relative to be your bridesmaid -- you wanted her there. Yes, she will 'stick out' in the photos....but not in a good way."

One forum user writes, "I think any bridesmaid that dyes their hair bright pink a week before the wedding is attention seeking. Everyone will know it too."

And the most hilarious comment on the thread: "She sounds awesome, can I come?"
