Boy survives near-fatal fall from bike
A boy in the US has survived a horror biking accident, including being run over by a semi-trailer.
Emilio Corrales, 11, fell off his bike on August 23 while cycling northbound on a highway in Kansas. He was then struck by the truck, leaving him with a fractured skull, fractured scapula, torn ACL and torn shoulder muscle.
Miraculously, Emilio has made a full recovery and was sent home after just a week of treatment.
The boy has spoken about his accident, saying he is grateful he didn't die.

"I'm thankful to God because I didn't die," the boy told KWCH. "I thought I was gonna die, when I got hit by a semi-truck."
Emilio attends wrestling classes in Colorado and was visited by members of his club who brought him gifts and supported his recovery.
His father, Oscar Corrales, is a single dad who has been struggling to pay the medical bills. Their local community has been supporting the family.
"I'm a single father trying to raise a little money for helping some of this medical stuff and bills and for Emilio transportation," Corrales wrote on a crowdfunding page.
He thanked God for his son's recovery and thanked emergency and hospital staff for coming to his son's aid.
