Woman shares disastrous haircut results on TikTok

A woman has shared the disastrous results of a recent trip to the hair dresser.

Laura Clarke, who shared a video of the experience on TikTok, thought she was averting disaster by bringing a photo of the style she wanted. She was keen on 'curtain bangs' which sees a long fringe parted in the centre and blow dried into flowing locks to frame either side of the forehead.

It seemed easy enough.

Sadly, the hairdresser Laura visited didn't quite get it right, leaving her with an awkward blunt long fridge hanging limply in its place.

While she seems to be trying to see the funny side of the situation she did as for advice when posting the results on TikTok writing: "How do I make this better?"

Some TikTok followers accused the woman of having cut it herself.

Others tried to advise her on what needs to be done to fix it by "blending" it in, not just in a "solid line" and then styling it.

"Hairdressers lives will be much easier when people realise hair in these photos has been styled," said another.

This was quickly disputed with a woman saying: "I have this hair cut and I don't style it. Stop saying its all about styling. The hairdresser screwed this up big time."

"You need to break up with your hairdresser," suggested another.

"I'm scared to get this at the hairdresser now," said one woman who had been considering 'fringe bangs' for herself.

One TikTok user recalled an equally traumatic experience when they were a child and something similar done to them.

"Omg my hairdresser did this to me with layers once," they explained. "I had SHELVES in the front of my hair. I cried and my mother took me back to the hairdresser."

Another said the exact same thing happened to her and she's "waiting for it to grow out".
