Fiona Falkiner and fiancee Hayley Willis share poignant message for IVF parents: 'You're not alone'
Model Fiona Falkiner and sports reporter Hayley Willis recently shared their joy at welcoming a son after a two-year journey with IVF.
Through their podcast 'What the IVF?', the new parents have detailed their fertility struggles and experiences after falling in love and deciding to have a child in 2019.
Following the birth of Hunter William Falkiner on March 22, Falkiner says the couple are "lucky we got here today in one piece."

Speaking on Today Extra, Willis acknowledged the "failures" it took the couple to reach where they are now.
"We've interviewed a lot of people who haven't gotten to this point, and they just have to accept that that's life," she explained.
"It's such a tough journey and I think women are just incredible for going on it."
In their podcast, launched last August, Falkiner and Willis described the tumultuous journey the IVF process led them on, tracking the challenges, triumphs and realities.
"It can feel like a really lonely journey," Falkiner told Today Extra, explaining the couple created 'What The IVF?' to "make women feel less alone."
"We're here to support them, we're here to tell them, 'You're not alone'," Willis added.
Falkiner and Willis celebrated the birth of Hunter with sweet posts to their Instagram pages, describing their son as "3.3.kgs of baby gold".
"For two years you were a dream. Over nine months we watched you grow," they each wrote.
"In a second you stole our hearts, and showed us a love we did not know."
After welcoming their son, Falkiner and Willis they were both stumped by what to do next.

"We walked into the birth suite and the nurse went to leave and we were like, 'What do you do now?'" Willis laughs.
The pair said they hope to have a second - and third - child if possible in the future.
"I think we want to just get at least two or three. We're blessed to have one, but if we can get anymore we'll be stoked," Willis said.
As for wedding plans, the couple's wedding, which was postponed in 2020 due to coronavirus, is likely to happen later in the year.
"They're getting there. We're on the backburner, but we'll get there," Willis said, with Falkiner adding, "Thanks to Hayley, she's doing most of it."
